Billing and refunds

One subscription per device, card at signup, full refund within 60 days, 90-day grace after cancelling or a failed payment.

One subscription per device

Each Mac and each drive is its own subscription line, so you can add, change and remove them independently. Prices are per device: Macs by built-in storage and plan, drives by whole terabytes. See the pricing page.

Card at signup, no trial

You add a card when you set up your first device and the first charge happens straight away. Instead of a trial, Yester gives you a 60-day full refund: ask from your account page within 60 days of a device’s first charge and the whole amount goes back to your card, no questions asked. Backups for that device stop and its backup stays readable for 90 days.

Monthly or yearly

Yearly billing is ten months — two months free. Switch from your account page; the change applies from the next renewal.

Changing plan

Move a Mac between Yester, Yester Pro and Yester Max at any time. The new price applies from the change, prorated for the rest of the current period.

Cancelling and the 90-day grace

Cancel a device from your account page or by removing it in the app. Backups stop and the backup stays readable for 90 days — you can browse and restore anything — after which it is deleted. Sign up again within the 90 days and the history is all still there.

When a payment fails

If a renewal fails, Yester tells you in the app and by email. Backups pause and the same 90-day read-only grace begins. Update your card from the link in your receipt email and backups resume where they left off.

Receipts and card details

Receipts are emailed after every charge. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never touch Yester’s servers.

Currencies

Prices are set in GBP, EUR and USD. Nothing is converted at checkout, and any local tax is shown before you pay.

The legal version of all this is in the refund policy and the terms.
