Refund policy

The promise
Yester has no free trial. Instead: ask within 60 days of a device line’s first charge and we refund the whole amount, no questions asked. This applies to every device line — each Mac and each external drive — separately, from the date that line was first charged.
How to ask
Sign in to your account page, find the device, and choose Refund. Or email support@yesterbackup.com from the address on your account, naming the device. Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank.
What happens next
- Backups for that device stop straight away.
- The backup stays readable for 90 days, so you can still restore anything from it. After that it is deleted.
- The device stays on your account. Subscribe again within the 90 days and its history is still there.
Yearly plans
The 60-day promise applies to yearly plans too, counted from the first charge. After 60 days a yearly plan is not refunded for the unused months, except where the law requires it. You can switch a yearly line to monthly at the next renewal from your account page.
Renewals and plan changes
Monthly and yearly renewals after the first 60 days are not refundable. Moving between plans is prorated at the time of the change and doesn’t start a new 60-day window.
Payment disputes
If something looks wrong on your statement, write to us first — we will sort out a refund far faster than a chargeback, and a chargeback pauses the account while it is investigated.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here reduces the rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
